This policy applies to every message submitted to MSG UNO's platform, whether by portal, HTTP API or SMPP, and to every reseller or sub-account you operate. Breaches lead to suspension and may lead to termination and reporting to operators or authorities. Report abuse to info@msguno.com.
1. Consent
- Marketing and promotional messages may be sent only to recipients who have given prior, verifiable consent (opt-in) to receive them from the brand named in the message, in the form required by the destination country.
- Transactional and OTP messages may be sent only to recipients who have initiated the transaction or hold an account with the sender.
- Purchased, rented, scraped or harvested number lists are prohibited.
- Consent records must be kept and produced to MSG UNO within two business days of request.
2. Opt-out
Every marketing message must offer a working opt-out (for example a STOP keyword or an unsubscribe link). Opt-out requests must be honoured immediately and permanently. Recipients on our global blacklist or on national do-not-disturb registers (where applicable) will not be messaged.
3. Prohibited content and uses
- Phishing, smishing, impersonation of banks, government bodies, delivery companies or any third party; spoofed or misleading sender IDs.
- Fraud, scams, “you have won” messages, advance-fee or investment scams, fake job offers, loan or debt-relief scams.
- Illegal gambling or gambling into markets where it is not permitted; unlicensed pharmaceuticals, controlled substances, weapons.
- Adult or sexually explicit content; content that is hateful, threatening, harassing or discriminatory.
- Malware, malicious links, link shorteners used to disguise prohibited destinations.
- Political or religious messaging in markets where it is restricted, and any content that is illegal in the destination.
- Artificially inflated traffic, SMS pumping, traffic designed to generate revenue share, or any traffic sent without a genuine recipient.
- Grey-route resale: using our routes in breach of operator or regulator rules, or misrepresenting traffic type (for example submitting marketing as OTP).
4. Sender ID and registration
You may only use sender IDs you are entitled to use. Where a destination requires registration (sender ID, India DLT headers and templates, US 10DLC, short codes), traffic must not be sent until registration is complete. Content must match registered templates where the destination requires it.
5. Timing and frequency
Comply with destination quiet hours (for example no marketing at night in India, UAE, France and many other markets) and with reasonable frequency limits. MSG UNO may apply per-destination rate limits.
6. Monitoring and enforcement
We filter content, monitor traffic patterns and complaint rates, and co-operate with operators and regulators. We may block, delay or reject messages, suspend sender IDs, binds or accounts, charge for fines or penalties passed to us by operators, and terminate the account for serious or repeated breaches. Suspended traffic remains billable where it was accepted by the platform.
7. Reporting abuse
Recipients and third parties can report unwanted messages to info@msguno.com with the sender number or ID, the message text and the time received. We investigate every report.
